Supercomputer predicts final Premier League table with Liverpool SECOND

Liverpool go into the new season aiming to defend their Premier League title, but a supercomputer has predicted they will just miss out after the fixtures were released. Jurgen Klopp’s side are the team to beat after storming to Premier League glory last season.

Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United are all expected to put up a stronger challenge while Arsenal and Tottenham will also hope to be in contention.

But there will equally be plenty of interest in the newly-promoted sides.

Leeds, West Brom and Fulham replace the relegated Norwich, Bournemouth and Watford.

Liverpool face Leeds in a tantalising opening-day fixture as they get their title defence underway on September 12.

But, according to a full table predicted by Unikrn’s supercomputer, Klopp’s side will just miss out on a second successive Premier League crown.

City are tipped to regain top spot in the English flight ahead of Liverpool, with United and Chelsea making up the top four.

Tottenham are predicted to just miss out in fifth with Arsenal just behind their rivals.

Meanwhile, Leeds are tipped to avoid a relegation battle with a 12th-placed finish.

It’s bad news for Fulham and West Brom fans as they’re predicted to go straight back down to the Championship.

Aston Villa narrowly avoided relegation last season, but the supercomputer doesn’t think that will happen again this time around as they’re predicted to finish 18th with Newcastle just surviving in 17th.
